My friend and my dog were a Mandalorian and a Halloween kid. My Cady, an 8 pound Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix, was a bit small for his costume so we had to make some adjustments. This included adding extra Velcro to the cap, removing the frog he was holding on to as he was depressing it, and adding extra Velcro to the neck piece to secure it. We also had to cut open the Jedi's robe as he walked on it. It would definitely have been better for a 15-20 lb dog, but as we only wear it one night a year it's ok. It was easy to adjust for a better fit and just toss it in the washing machine at the end of the night. He got a lot of compliments!
