What happened to the design of the product? Maybe in China they hold their phones vertically, but in other countries they hold them horizontally. When carried horizontally on the right side, the phone falls out of the front clip because it is open at the top and the clip is at the back. Very embarrassing. When reorientated to carry it on the left, the latch slides forward where it should be, but again the other end of the top is open so the phone only partially falls out. Spigen and other manufacturers like Otter have created better designs, albeit at a steep price. If you're protecting a $1,000 phone, the extra $10 for a better designed holster might be justified. I persevere because there is no other way. UPDATED - There are actually other options now so I'll try them. I downgraded my overall rating for this product because the metal plate on the back came loose with the first slight bump while driving and the phone fell off my dashboard magnet mount and flew towards the passenger door. Poor quality product top to bottom so I end up throwing it in the local landfill where it belongs. I would recycle, but no one accepts junk like that.
