I'm 60 and active in the gym and life. I recently started doing more heavy lower leg work with my trainer. I found myself then having to stop and pull my normal shorts legs up and 'seat' into them every time I did deep squats or any lower body work.A friend mentioned I should get some 5" inseam shorts. I actually searched that here as I've never worn those.I literally lol'd when I saw these. And am like I'd get laughed out of the gym with these Daisy Dukes on. Not really proper for a man my age where I live. However, always the one to push the envelope a little further, I thought wth. You're old. They'll just feel sorry for me and my early dementia. The FIRST time I slid these shorts on I IMMEDIATELY felt the difference in these and normal saggy shorts. When you can feel the muscles against your clothing, you get a better feel for how to use those muscles instead of muscles hanging loosely in loose shorts. It seems like they put you in better contact with your body.My wife and adult kids were kinda wide-eyed at first, but came around to the idea. After the first gym session, I sat in the gym parking lot and ordered 2 more pair. They've made a difference in my workout and my confidence at the gym. Yeah, I do get glances, especially when I wear the gray ones. If you know you know lol .Wear shorter underwear with these guys or the longer ones will hang below your shorts when you go deep on squats or sit on equipment. These are for the gym environment. These are NOT for church and family reunions or out in the general public unless you're trying to pick up some side work.Very comfortable and seem well-made.I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall, 235 lbs and a 34-36" waist. The large fit perfectly.
