I have been buying Powermax inverters since 2012 when my shop suggested everyone to buy them. Among the 20 or so people who bought one, it turned out that 80% of us failed within 2 years and we paid over $200 for it. I had to send mine in for service once, the service response was pretty terrible/impossible but it's been going on ever since so I bought another one in 2018 when it failed here on Amazon. First mistake. This charger failed again after about 1.5 years, just stopped charging. Again, getting in touch with the support team was next to impossible and they tried to shake off the phone call instead of sending me to the support team. After the unit was re-shipped, it was next to impossible to contact Graham again for another week. When I finally do it says the unit needs to be replaced and they ship it. At least they FINALLY guaranteed it, but it was like pulling teeth and they were clearly trying to dodge it. This is made easier by not having an online presence on yelp or google; Coincidence? I don't think they will go broke if they take public responsibility for their products and services. I know it sucks, but I'll spend more money on a better device. Spending $150 to $200 only to be fined a little over a year later is even worse.
