Festive four piece kitchen set: apron, oven mitt, kitchen towel and tote bag for everything. DII makes such cute holiday themed kitchen items. I've had many of these and love the look of them, but the towels aren't as absorbent as I like and the cotton folds need ironing to keep them looking good. So why do I keep getting them? Because they are so cute and good for Christmas decoration. The potholder is not a problem as it is thick with a thick lining sewn onto the outer fabric. It washes off and continues to look good. Bright apron that reads We Shake You Merry Christmas. It has spacious patch pockets and covers the front of the body well. I would wear it when serving food. I wouldn't want to ruin it by actually cooking while wearing it. So this will be my "fashion statement” for the holidays. The towel is brightly colored and has a sewn-on fabric ribbon on the back side corner for hanging. The large bag holds all three items and is comfortable to use. Gift. DII makes a quality product - everything I own is well made and looks good. The only thing I don't like is that they are cotton and need to be ironed after washing and I don't think towels should require that much work. They should get softer and more absorbent the more you wash them, but that's not my experience. I prefer terry cloth for its absorbency and ease of care. But because of the cuteness factor, I'll still go with DII products.
