I rode a bike long before there were cell phones. I have bought several phone holders and nothing compares to them. It holds my iPhone 8 perfectly with a medium sized case. I've driven it about 2,500 miles and the phone has never been dropped. I bought one for my girlfriend and she has a larger iPhone with her but has only driven it a few hundred miles. I even installed the mount on my Harley and it works great. The only possible downside would be if you have a large phone with a bulky body. they may not fit!
