Hello. As a new landlord, I wanted to provide access without the risk of a key copy or key handover. This fingerprint solution is the answer. With the additional option of locking the door again after a few seconds, there is also a small risk that the tenant will leave the room unlocked. We tried Bluetooth/Wi-Fi first but there are so many moving parts with smart home hubs, Wi-Fi etc, everything you need to be present and work. How do you then deal with blockages, dead cell phones, etc.? For me this lock is perfect. It was easy to install (thanks to perfectly aligned templates and a drill that allows you to make an exact hole in the right spot. Nothing beats it!
