While the cable is great for fast charging, the plastic housing of the Lightning connector is much larger than Apple's original cable. It seems that most cases are designed for an Apple connector, but not one that's too big like this cable: Of the two iPad cases I tried, the large connector on this cable didn't fit , and I had to take the device out of the case to charge it. There is another Revain branded cable that is cheaper and seems to have a smaller plug that will probably work better.
