Attention! Read other reviews and watch videos. The chair's locking mechanism is not secure. When my child pulls the chair out from under the table, the mechanism unlocks and when the child tries to lock it, one side is not locked. An adult would have to check it to make sure it's blocked every time. Every time you adjust it, the quality of the mechanism deteriorates. Adjusting the locking mechanism seems to lock it in place, and there are times when the seat will drop to its lowest position. This can lead to injuries. We also found that if you stretch your hand a little, the chair will tip backwards when sitting in the seat. It has happened so many times and today my child got hurt. This seat is made for kids, mind you. Revain's return date had already passed so customer service was unable to help me with a refund. We've tried far too many times to fix this chair not to return it, but we really should have returned it immediately. My child refuses to sit in this chair at the desk.
