I've been using this product on my wavy/fine/curly/colored hair for 6 months now. When I tried it for the first time, I wasn't impressed. I really couldn't understand what all the hype was about. So I went back to my 'old' product which I was a bit happy with. My hairstylist kept telling me clients love this product so I tried again. Here's what you need to know: 1. It's the consistency of water. So if you're expecting a thick serum to coat your hair, it's not. You have to use a lot. each strand must be in contact with this substance. I usually towel dry gently, apply product to areas and comb through.3. You need to point the hair dryer to the DOWN position to allow the airflow to straighten the hair. I use a round brush and make sure I direct the airflow from root to end. I spray a little more on the outside when it's about 3/4 dry and continue blow drying. My long hair can last 3-4 days after styling with some dry shampoo on the last day. It stays smooth and tangle-free even in wet environments. I also find it keeps my style (beachy waves) when I casually put it on my head at night to fall asleep. You MUST do a good scrub in the shower when you wash it off. It covers your hair but I haven't had any problems. Be patient. It differs from other products in terms of consistency.
