The converter arrived on time and looked good. Turns out I couldn't use it because the cassette I had was 40 years old and the tape itself just wouldn't play. I played it a couple of times on the car cassette player, but maybe it didn't hold up to repeated listening. I really wanted to save him (this is an audio recording of my 5th birthday party that I found while putting away my dad's things after his death). I can try to get it somewhere to see if it can be fixed. The cassette is one of those old ones welded together. Nevertheless, I had to send the converter back.
