Had high hopes for this based on reviews of their other products. Unfortunately, this device was downright unreliable. USB tethering drops the internet connection and then refuses to connect to the phone at all. Repeater mode randomly disconnects the internet connection. Even using it as a wired router with a WAN Ethernet connection and CAT6 LAN does not provide reliable traffic transmission. I haven't tried the built-in cellular modem, but I wasn't hoping for one either. I've tried updating the firmware, resetting the settings multiple times, digging in the Luci panels, etc. but to no avail. I've seen reports from other users with the same issues and one review stating the unit had board issues. Stay away from them until they release a patched version or software update that fixes these issues. I am returning mine and ordering Mudi (GL-E750) hoping it will work better.
