Cute, looks good but the quality is really cheap

Meh, typical Pyle product. If you want really cheap hardware, buy Pyle of, you know. The sound is a little muddy and the frequency response is below average, the stereo separation is adequate, but there's definitely a noticeable slight harmonic distortion no matter what source you're using. you hear. Surround sound: With it, you get 4 channels of stereo sound in "surround", and the volume of the rear channel is much lower than the volume of the front, so you need to reduce the front channel output to -2 or -3, and rear set to +7 (maximum) to compensate, which greatly reduces the overall volume of the device. No rear speakers when surround is switched off! BT, decent range, for me it's about 25ft before it starts to fail. The sound quality is ok but still the same distortion as FM. HDMI, no idea, haven't even tried it. VHF reception, ok if you buy your own antenna for it. Why isn't this included in the package? The "female PAL" antenna connector on the back of this unit is stupid, you will most likely need to buy one because with all the cable junk boxes I have none was compatible and I have a lot of cable boxes. and cable! Another note about this unit: The FM connector is incredibly tight when you connect an antenna to it, DO NOT (REPEAT!) TURN THE CONNECTOR TO REMOVE! I literally ripped the cheap metal connecting the center conductor to the jack! I had to open the block and re-solder! If your device isn't picking up any radio stations, no matter which antenna (or piece of wire in the middle wire) you connect, you most likely have a defective connector as well because you tried to unscrew the connector! Remote control, well, that thing just sucks! The buttons stick to the body of the remote when you press them (as others have said), it's very annoying having to unscrew the buttons to make them pop out again. The display, being blue, is not the best color for use in bright, sunny locations. because the display is not visible. I use mine outside on the patio and can't see anything on it in the sunshine. In general, this device is best suited for low-volume environments where the sound doesn't need to be good. I was really hoping it would be a decent alternative to the car stereo I had instead (Pioneer AVH-5700BHS, yes, a bit overkill for the patio, which is why I chose this one), but it really is Not. I'll leave it for a while until I get tired of fiddling with it and just put another car stereo back on the patio, at least it will power the 4 infinity coaxial speakers I've installed on the patio ceiling. I just wish there was an alternative 4 channel BT amp with FM and Aux inputs that wasn't any bigger than this one at Revain as there are plenty of 2 channel models but no one that does 4-4- ohm speaker drives.
