According to my wife, "this is one sleek and sexy coffee grinder!" I didn't notice the rose gold accent when I bought it, a bonus as it matches our current decor. To be honest I've never owned or used an electric pepper grinder and really didn't think I needed one. I still don't know if I need it. Runs on 6 AA batteries, don't know how it compares to others but seems to work and set up satisfactorily. Seems loud enough for the kitchen. I like to work with one hand, especially when the other hand is working with the marinade. Durability to be confirmed. I will update the review if it turns out to be disappointing or premature.
