This is probably because our toilet is in a tiny bathroom on wheels, too close to the wall, so it is very difficult to install this part. This is the second time we've had to replace it, so this time it was a little easier. Last time it broke trying to install so we had to buy a second one. This time we bought two, but we got it right the first time. So next time it breaks in about a year and a half, we'll have a spare on hand.
