I always buy new filters because I use the newest ones I have on hand. Today I installed a new AQUABOON filter and while there are usually no problems - the filter went in with more friction than usual, it seems to have sagged. To my chagrin it leaked horribly - took it off, smeared more petroleum jelly on it and it kept leaking. I then measured the new filter and the old 3M Aqua Pure that I've been using for ages - 3/8" height difference and there were no rubber grommets for the top and bottom. I had to reinstall the old 3M filter which was usable was and it was OK, DO NOT BUY THIS FILTER FOR A BIG BLUE WHOLE HOUSE SYSTEM - IT MAY NOT FIT CORRECTLY!
