Review on Huawei Freebuds Pro MermaidTWS with Active Noise Cancellation - Silver Frost by Aneta Ambroziak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

I would like to compare this model with Air pods pro and Bose SoundSport Free as both models have been used for almost a year and cost about the same. The comparison is purely functional, because the appearance does not bother me much (although the huawei is very cool), and the build quality and fit in the ear are excellent everywhere. 1. Sound quality. Here APPLE, do not hold out. I'm not saying that there is a bad sound, but for the money they could do something more interesting. The same BOSE and HUAWEI play much better and richer, while they do not have a wild wheezing bass. If we compare BOSE and HUAWEI, then in the latter the sound is better. 2. Ease of use Here APPLE, on the contrary, has done away with everyone far and for a long time. HUAWEI also has track switching and noise reduction modes on each earbud, which is a plus, but the sound response that you pressed the button is so quiet that you have to guess how many times you managed to press the button. I’m generally silent about BOSE, their right earpiece is the main one, so if it is discharged, then you can use the left one only as a plug. 3. Microphone It all depends on the device. If you have Android - forget about AirPods Pro. Only on the first "eplums" you will be able to communicate normally. Proshki will transmit any sounds to your interlocutor, but not your voice. Therefore, there is definitely Huawei. And then my interlocutors occasionally complain that they can’t hear me well, but still better than in Apple. If you have iOS, then, of course, their headphones are here. Huawei will also work, but not as magical, and the price is not much more, so if I had an iPhone, I would never even think about buying Huawei. 4. Noise reduction Apple is top notch, period. Huawei is pretty good except for the transparency mode. They overestimate the frequency of the sounds around them too much, so it seems like they are cutting your ear with a knife (exaggeratedly). I hope there will be new firmware in which this will be fixed. For the money, these are the best headphones for those who have Android.

Pros
  • Sound quality. Absence of the "Main" earpiece (each earpiece has full functionality). Noise reduction mode.
Cons
  • Not a very high quality transparency mode. I hope there will be new firmware that will fix this. Connection stability. When the phone is in your pocket, friezes and disconnections often slip through. Again, I hope for a new firmware. Pseudo button response volume
