I was so excited to get these, I’ve been trying to glam up a few cabinets and brighten the space in my dining/living room , especially on my darker woods.First disappointment, the new knobs arrived already with dings and scratches and gold peeling off on some areas of knobs (might be hard to see in pictures). It’s not a huge deal, but when it’s new, that’s disappointing. The knobs themselves are very weighty and don’t feel cheap or hollow, nice. There were 2 screw sizes, also, very thoughtful. However, the screw hole in the actual knob does not go down very far, which meant I couldn’t get any of the knobs to fit flush on my cabinets, and I tried it in various cabinets. The larger screws just stuck out more, and the smaller one barely went past a few millimeters. I put a picture comparing the previous knobs I was replacing, size of knobs and screws, almost identical, but space to go in further, very different. I ended up using another knob I purchased as back up, that actually also had a deeper screw well and fit flush. Again, disappointed, maybe can find another use for these elsewhere.
