Review on ๐Ÿงน Hoover Blade Multi-Surface Stick Vacuum Cleaner by James Eledge

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lightweight, tremendous suction, not ideal for carpets...

Go ahead, great frame and bottom bracket quality, solid product. Extremely lightweight and ideal for low pile carpets such as doormats, low pile rugs and oddly not being ideal for medium to high pile carpets it works very well on carpeted stairs with any type of covering. In my opinion, the brush head is small and should have been an inch or two wider for the distance it travels, and it doesn't seem to roll well on carpets in general, perhaps due to the lack of brush head height or the plastic rollers themselves. They're very low at the front of the cart, which slides on the ground, and the back is a normal height so it almost digs in when you push forward and then bounces off when you pull it back. I believe this requires a larger front roller and a bit more height. Overall it has amazing vacuum/suction. Works great on stairs as they are short and you don't feel any frontal resistance as you don't go far with each step. The head wobbles a bit when maneuvering. It definitely turns well and gets bottlenecks. Overall, it's great for general light cleaning tasks. Please excuse the last few photos of dirty wheels but I really didn't understand why they rolled so unevenly on the carpet until I cleaned the entire bottom floor of the house. It should also be noted that the battery life isn't the best, for me I charged about an hour and it had 3 out of 4 bars, it worked for about 15-20 minutes and overheated the battery which I'm now waiting for. Charge the cold pack as it will display a solid red LED and will not charge until it cools down for the first time.
