Higher resolution is worth the price

I bought this because of the higher resolution. Don't be fooled by large screens, but with the same resolution as smaller screens! I originally bought a lower resolution 30 inch monitor and thought "bigger is better" was VERY wrong! The previous screen was 30 inches but the same resolution as the 22 inch it replaced. Yes, things were bigger, but at a normal distance they were blurry. Basically the 22 inches have been stretched to be taller. Imagine walking near a large TV. From a distance it looks great, but up close it looks terrible. This AOC monitor has a higher resolution, which gives more 'real' space for programs on the screen. Things don't look stretched or blurry, just more room for programs, more columns to view in spreadsheets, etc. ALWAYS look at the resolution when buying a monitor. If it is a large screen with a low resolution of 1920x1080. DO NOT buy because it is cheaper! Going from 1920x1080 to 2560x1440 doesn't seem like a big difference here, but when you open programs it's a very big difference! Get the highest resolution you can afford, your eyes will thank you. So far I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.
