I bought this to use with my gecko because he is a nocturnal reptile and this device allows you to use night or daylight, it works for both but I really like it, it has a nice one blue color and he gives me a little glow that i can actually see him at night because he is hard to see at night when you turn on the light they hide so i can watch him with this little blue glow and he shines loving it so I would recommend it works great It's energy efficient it seems really made and I have no problem with it
