REPTI ZOO Terrarium Light: Day & Night Mode LED Hood for Reptile Habitats - White & Blue Light for Varied Pet Behaviors Review

I have never bought from repti-zoo but am intrigued by the pictures and characteristics of this product. I work for a chain pet store and we don't have many reptile products yet. This little light was the only product that was the right size and power for my grow tank. I was impressed with everything about this device: the packaging, the quality of the components, the lighting, and the controls - everything was better than other offerings. Well done reptizoo!

I bought this to use with my gecko because he is a nocturnal reptile and this device allows you to use night or daylight, it works for both but I really like it, it has a nice one blue color and he gives me a little glow that i can actually see him at night because he is hard to see at night when you turn on the light they hide so i can watch him with this little blue glow and he shines loving it so I would recommend it works great It's energy efficient it seems really made and I have no…

This light gets too hot to use on my amphibious tank. It's also too bright and not dimmable. For a few bucks less I bought COODIA Dimmable Remote Controlled LED Light for Aquarium Lighting and found it much better. There is no night mode, but it is dimmable and does not heat up at all. If desired, you can install on the tank. There is also a remote control! I wish I had seen this light before jumping on this one. 2 stars because it's a work light but I wouldn't recommend it.

Better than expected. The metal stands hold the light about 1/2 inch above the top of the screen grille. It was hard to tell from the photos in the ad. In addition, the parts of the stand can be adjusted by extending and retracting to accommodate a small or large cage for better support. Although the light itself was a little smaller than I expected when I installed this light, all I could say was WOW. This light is just great for my aquarium and with a dimmer for 3 different lighting modes you can really customize the lighting to suit your living space.
