Bought this for our old, cold, damp, musty smelling apartment. I put it in the closet because our clothes were damp, mold was constantly growing and I was tired of the smell. Holy shit, that's amazing. Every 5 days I drain the water because it fills up. No wet clothes. There is no more mold on the walls. No more musty smell. So I bought another one for the bedroom corner. The noise is like a small fan, it's not very loud but you know it's there. The blue light is also quite bright, like a dim night light. So if you like to sleep in complete darkness, you need to cover the light. I love that it turns off automatically and the light flashes to let you know it needs to be reset. So seriously, just buy this and stop worrying!
