Review on Thermaltake Riing 12 Series Blue LED Ring Fan: Powerful 120mm High Static Pressure & Anti-Vibration Cooling System CL-F038-PL12BU-A by Jerry Peebler

I bought 3 of these yellow fans for my PC. When I turned on the PC the color of the LED ring was not amber and bright like the pictures on the boxes they come in and on Thermaltake & Revain's website. The color of the LED ring resembled an aged yellowish Plexiglas. Fan performance, noise level, and build quality are excellent, as with all other Thermaltake fans I've bought in the last 10+ years. However, I paid the extra for a fan with a BRIGHT YELLOW LED instead of a very poorly aged Plexiglas LED. Also, the brightness of the LED fan ring was so dim that even with the front and both side covers of the PC case removed and the lights in the room turned off, I could barely see the parts of the PC that were near the fans. So I sent the fans back thinking they were probably just defective. Revain was great and sent replacement fans, but the replacement fans had the exact same issue as the first three. If you like the dull old-fashioned yellowish LED color, then this fan is for you. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, now I have to return these fans. :-( At least Revain does a great job with support and returns. :-)
