Review on 🌿 Golden Dieffenbachia Silk Plant - Nearly Natural 6639, 24in, Green, 12" x 12" x 35 by Stephen Vasquez

This plant looks exactly like the picture. This is good value for money. I agree with others that the packaging of this plant would have gotten a star. It's boxed only, no foil, no ties, just no attachment so I'm glad mine arrived in perfect condition. I spent 30 minutes shaping the plant and trimming a few spots where the fabric leaves were fraying (about 5 leaves total). You need time to shape it. The leaves are pretty flat, and if you take them one at a time and bend them a little, they look more real. Also separate them at the base of the stem. This is a very complete plant. I wouldn't recommend them as a focal point in a well-lit area, but I need a ground plant in a dimly lit area and one that you follow from a distance. In this application it looks very realistic. I don't like the Spanish moss (brown material) they used at the base of the plant and it was sparse as per another review. You really can't see it when you sculpt the plant, but I took it further and went to the dollar store and bought a bag of Green Reindeer Moss (Green) which I placed on top of the Spanish Moss. Another thing I agree with is that the planter is very "cheap" but in my application again it looks good and suits my decor. If you want something much nicer, be prepared to shell out at least $200 for such a complete plant. Finally, the plant is about 22 inches tall. I didn't want my middle blade to stand straight up, which would give it a claimed 24-inch height. The only thing I really didn't like was the four leaves they folded to look like new growth. If you look closely at the picture, you can see them. Mine were wrapped too tight and looked fake, but I just undid them a little at the bottom and they looked better. By the way, this is my third almost natural purchase and I am very satisfied with the quality at the price offered and I am a very picky buyer!
