I ordered the 24 pack. The bags came in one large Ziploc type bag with an additional piece of plastic. When I opened it up, it looked like an apron. I was really confused about that until I thought about it a little more. You can use that to tie around your waist for modesty if you are out in public so people don't see you doing your business.The bags are individually packaged inside of that and each one is about the size of a drink packet you would add to a water bottle. Once open, it's taller than a Nalgene bottle and about as wide.Inside the bag there is an absorbent pad that looks like a thick paper towel. Upon using, the pad absorbs the liquid and feels like a gel. It swells up pretty fast and within 3 minutes there was no slosh. The zipper functions well at the top of the bag and sealed tight so nothing came out. There was no odor either, which is great. The opening was sufficient to "hit the mark", though my wife refuses to try the inverted female way shown on the package, so I can't comment on that way.Thinking back to all the times I could have used one of these, I plan on putting them in several places for future use. I'll keep some in each car for traffic jams or road trips (especially with younger children), our emergency preparedness bags, day hiking packs, camping tub (nature always calls at 3 am when it's too cold to run outside) and a few with the backpacking gear. With the nominal weight, I think this might be a better approach to visiting parks that require you to pack everything out. I would much rather have a couple of these bags instead of carrying a slosh tube back to the Ranger station.Overall, this is a pretty good product I can see getting use out of in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
