Review on FLARUT Men's Barefoot Lightweight Training Sandals: The Ultimate Athletic Shoes by Brian Faxon

I've been to several sports shops and sports shoe stores to find a light, closed-top hiking shoe with a good sole that I can wear in Japan this summer in the heat and humidity and probably Rain. I couldn't find anything comparable to Flarut sandals, even for $150. After searching the web I kept coming back to this shoe because the reviews sounded exactly like what I was looking for. I am so happy with this purchase, it is exactly what I wanted, I would have paid a lot more if I had seen something like this in stores. Super comfortable, great profile on a very flexible sole, well made and almost weightless. Tensioned the bungee once to fit and all I had to do was tighten it. I wear them exclusively now since I received them 2 weeks ago as they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I walk 4 miles every morning, a mix of concrete and beach sand. This is the first shoe that somehow doesn't get sand in, I don't know how because they are low and quite open but there is no sand. I wear them around the house, when working in the garden, even at night as they are not only comfortable but also look good. I will probably need another pair when I go to Japan in July. I wet them too and they are still comfortable and dry quickly. The only thing I did was add an extra insole under the very well breathable lightweight insole that came with the shoe. I have severe toe injury issues from years of breaking things with my feet in martial arts and I have a special toe brace insert. I usually wear a size 101/2 so I went with an 11 to make sure I had room for the extra padding. Worked great and gave extra cushion and arch support which is probably why I can run 4 miles and wear them all day with no issues. But even with my special insoles, I can't wear any other shoe for so long and still feel good. Can't recommend them enough if you are looking for a shoe like this, great product and will be buying a few more pairs to keep in stock.
