The bristles are a bit soft.

First bought a bottle brush kit to clean my double wall stainless steel water bottle (which I actually use for milk). While I'd be happy with stiffer bristles, the brush does a pretty good job of cleaning my bottle. I haven't had the opportunity to use other brushes.
