Review on Knife Makers Material: Bookmatched Ironwood Knife Scales, 2 Pack - Size 5 1/8 x 1 3/4 x 1/2 Inches by Mike Starling

I have bought a large number of knife scales but NEVER received them taped together with very sticky tape! It took me 15 minutes to gently peel off the tape (without scratching the wood), scrub off the remaining adhesive with Goo-Gone, and then rub the wood with rubbing alcohol to remove most of the Goo-Gone residue! Photos show stains AFTER using Goo-Gone and alcohol cleaning. I have always received wooden scales in plastic bags with no damage to the wood. Why use tape on wood? As far as scale tabs go, there is no unique feature that can be advertised as tabs on either scale. I know not every scale can look as pretty as your photo, but be honest with your customers! I will never buy anything from MexPro again!
