From a hobbyist and her impatient friend, don't let the 'difficult to install' reviews put you off! The only issue we had was that the included screws to attach the mount didn't fit our existing socket (we needed something thicker), so we had to buy some screws. This solved the wire trick warnings SIMPLY: After you've assembled the light fixture, but before attempting to mount it to the ceiling, group all the black and all the white wires together. Use electrical tape just under the bare wires to gather them together (e.g. 1 gauge wire instead of 6). This makes it very easy to combine with ceiling cables using the supplied connectors. Even with a quick trip to the compatible screw store, this was done in less than an hour and looks great in our office.
