I've learned quite a bit from buying stones online. First, you will almost never get what is listed in terms of size/shape/texture. Read the reviews and you'll get a good idea of how inaccurate most stone listings are. Second, regardless of weight, you get about 1/4 of the bricks you envision in your head. For example, they come in a box the size of a large book. In your mind you probably picture a courier hauling a huge sack full of rocks to your front door. It's not like this. But that's what it is. Rule of thumb when trying to fill in a specific area in your garden or indoors: take what you need and multiply it by 5 or 6. So keep that in mind when ordering decorative stones. Other than that they are exactly as described. They're polished, they don't have that awful powder that sellers sprinkle on ordinary stones and sell them as 'white' where it washes off. These are white stones, they are shiny, correspond to the specified dimensions and weight. So at least you get what you pay for and you know what you're getting. Just buy a few more than you think you'll need and you'll be fine.
