Cute shorts but no adjustable waistband and they were a full two sizes too big. My daughter is 49 inches and 49 pounds and usually wears 6x, I bought 6 and they were too big. I will keep 6 for next year and try 5. UPDATE: 5 was too big too, guess I'll have to try size 4? It's a bit ridiculous, I understand manufacturers vary in sizing, but being a full 3 sizes too big is a bit crazy. My daughter rarely wears a size 5 from other brands and never wears a size 4.
