If your child is on the "curvy" side I wouldn't recommend it. Thigh tight waste large. These pants don't stretch either.

For some reason these pants are both too small and too big. Compresses too much! Bought the same brand, size 7, different style, and it's too long. Bought this stylish size 6 thinking it would fit. After 1 wash on both you can see they are 6 inches shorter. Really? 6 inches is just one size smaller? Have they really been prewashed 50 times? I wouldn't expect shrinkage.
