Review on Newest T6 Spot & COB Board Flood Light: Waterproof 6000 Lumen USB Rechargeable Hard Hat Headlamp with 4 Clips for Outdoor Camping Hunting by Mike Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, convenient.

Thing works well, especially for the price. I'm not sure if that's the real 6000lm as I'm not able to measure it. All modes work simply by simply toggling between button presses. Others mention battery life and charging issues. I have never charged batteries via USB. I assume it is unregulated and destroys batteries. I have a regulated charger that I use (pictured) that doesn't charge batteries. They're not expensive - $10-15 for the top two versions, and they're easy on your batteries. This is a standard battery size (18650) so batteries are widely available when you need to replace them. A note: The positive end of these batteries can vary (flat or raised), you can see in the picture that the length of the battery can vary depending on this positive end. So the flat top versions don't fit in the battery compartment (slightly shorter) so it can sometimes be tricky to connect them correctly to the terminals. Overall I think this is a great head/work light. Haven't had a chance to put it on my helmet yet, but I've climbed into a few bunkers with limited space and found it to work well.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
