So far I have successfully mounted 2 plugs for the coaxial cable. Since there were no instructions, I also messed up the connector before setting up the tool through trial and error. I had some cable making experience but this was my first time using compression connectors. I hope that only minor adjustments will be necessary in the future. The cable prep tool (which cuts the cable jacket) was easy to use and worked as expected. The zippered pouch that holds the tools and cords is handy as it keeps everything together until another cord needs to be terminated. It looks like this kit will do the job it was designed for. However, some hints, as well as additional markings on the tools, make the task less error-prone. Before I delve into other cables, I'll search "Coax Compression Tool" on YouTube to see related videos.
