I purchased this item after trying my sister's similar looking device for $299. I chose this one based on the price and it seemed incredibly similar. I've been using it for about 2 months as I'm currently recovering from multiple injuries that are causing muscle imbalances and stiffness. I was skeptical but this device is cool! My only small problem is the power supply. With this percussion massager, I always have to use it at high power because low and medium power isn't strong enough unless it's on an extremely sensitive area like the front/side neck and jaw. Or forearms. In fact, it's great for relaxing tight jaw muscles. The high setting is strong enough. Good for muscle awakening and preparation for training. I tend to run on high settings with a foam head. The high settings are pretty strong and push really hard on my body, moving along the "grain" along my muscle fibers and focusing on the knots. Viewing the muscle anatomy chart will greatly improve your ability to get the most out of this device. Noise is around 5/10 on high settings and that's tolerable for the benefits this device offers. Some roar above. The hard extra pressure I apply when using it didn't seem to cause any noticeable problems due to engine loading. After about 2 months of heavy use this thing is still working well and I highly recommend it. If you don't like this you can always buy 2 more for the brand price of an almost identical product.
