After the video card stopped working, I went to the service center of the retailer, and they voided the warranty on the faulty item. The verdict was in two weeks later, and it was as follows: "VGA components broken down electrically on their respective independent buses: + 12V, + 3V (PCIEX16 connection), which are utilized to link external devices. Electrothermal damage to the graphics processing unit." Yet the success of this case cannot be assured. I want to point out that nothing else, including this video card, failed any longer, and that it was the sole brand-new equipment in my computer. After putting the previous one back in, everything began to function normally again. Because of this, the retailer declined to make any adjustments or issue a refund, instead directing them to the Asus customer service department. Asus gives a response - "Unfortunately, only the seller is able to provide support for products of this type. Make sure you get in touch with the vendor." This is just excellent, sir! I strongly suggest that you check into alternative manufactures, and that you choose the merchant with great care.
