I'm having similar issues with general text sharpness. It's not bad, but I have it on a stand (in portrait mode) along with another 1440P 27" and 1440P 21:9, 34" display (all IPS) and the text is noticeably worse on the VA2719. Another oddity is that the screen almost has a "texture" that is very noticeable when you move the window across the screen. With a fixed window, this isn't really a problem, but it's also a bit annoying. I'm connected via DP if it's of interest to someone comparing text sharpening issues. I would have sent it back, but I foolishly threw the box away. Luckily I have several employees (all with multiple displays) so next time we need another 27 inch monitor we'll give it to someone else.
