Notebook HP Pavilion M7, Windows 10, x64. I contacted the company to make sure it was compatible. They said it would. That's absolutely not true. Not recognized by Windows, Device Manager, BIOS, nothing. There is no way to change anything in the BIOS to make it recognized. I understand that it may not be compatible with some BIOSes like all Dell or all HP and maybe Lenovo, ASUS and other laptops. Just tell me before I buy it. Plus, it's not even removed, leaving a cave to house an SSD. It's a bit of a hassle to slide the SSD in and out, probably because the parts are flimsy plastic (I think I know where Cracker Jack moved production of their "plastic toy prizes" to a few years ago); However, this does not matter in a doorway. I wonder what other products they have? I guess I'll never know as that level of tech support telling me to buy something incompatible doesn't bode well for post-purchase support. I would stay away from anything with the word "icy". if it doesn't apply to cocktails.
