The absolute pressure sensor is better than the volvo sensor on my boat.
I purchased this MAP sensor after learning about a MAP I was having trouble with on my boat. My engine is a Volvo Penta 5.0GXi. This MAP sensor is exactly the same as the 4.3/5.0/5.7L MAP sensors on VP engines but cheaper. I highly recommend this sensor. I had a problem starting the crankshaft when pumping gas when trying to start the engine which started and ran but stalled when returning to idle. That solved it perfectly. Happy boating.
