Son #2 catches poison ivy at least a couple of times every summer, and sometimes even more often. It seems like all he has to do is look at it and he'll be itching that evening. Needless to say, I keep stuff to treat it on hand throughout the summer. This soap sounded promising, so I thought we'd give it a go, and as it turns out, it works pretty well for soothing the itch. I didn't realize that it had eucalyptus oil in it until we got it, so being allergic to eucalyptus, I just stay away from it. Son #2 knows where it's kept and gets it himself when needed. He said this soap does help with the itch, and it seems like the rash heals more quickly. So, for him, we'll continue to get this for the summers, and he'll hopefully learn to stay away from poison ivy eventually.
