Large realistic flame

The Dimplex fireplace is very easy to install. We were amazed at how realistic the flames looked. The fire looks even better without the other lights reflected in the mirror. We love this fireplace and the Comfort Smart Fire Crackler makes it even more realistic. We did not test the heat output. We used to have gas firewood but it gave off too much heat so we never used the fireplace. The ability to turn off the heating was one of the reasons we bought this unit - living in the south we don't need extra heating. No, we can also enjoy the fireplace in the summer.
