Review on Enhanced Mortise and Tenon Jig - Precision Drill Template Set with Hollow Chisel Bit Attachment by Pranav Osman

Was looking for a reasonably priced tool to cut mortise and mortises in small batches and it looked promising. The instructions say this works for stock up to 2.5 inches. It is necessary to cut grooves in the 2.5" x 2.5" legs (the most headroom this unit will allow), but the struts holding the stock are positioned so they don't stand straight . mounts securely in fixtures, creates such a cutting clearance that it is necessary to find/use a special non-standard router bit Finally had to cut the grooves by hand without tools, using a standard router bit and centering pins Cuts tenons fairly well , but leaves material that must be hand cut when using a 1.25 inch die head. The instructions are detailed, but sometimes confusing and contradictory. Several bushings are supplied, but only the 1.25" die head. It is very difficult to trace the correct association of bushings and die heads (not included). Good idea, but the design doesn't take into account the actual use of this device. On occasion I have sent it back there must be alternatives that work as intended at a competitive price I would like to know what it is.
