Based on the legendary Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP 24" IPS monitor with a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and 400cd/m² brightness at 1920x1200 60Hz, my expectations for the picture quality are quite high. The Dell monitor was launched in 2008 and showed its age with it a burnt bar on the left side of the screen and a few dead pixels, it's time for an upgrade.I've always wanted a 140Hz monitor but never had the chance to try it.After doing a lot of research and looking at gamer After looking at reviews of the Nexus and YouTube hardware I was torn between this and the $250 LG 27GL650F-B ips I play at 1080p and only play Project Reality This monitor has exceptional picture quality and there it's a 27" 1080p monitor, I don't notice a lot of pixels in the images. In terms of pixel density, it's very similar to a 24" monitor. To achieve a color close to my Dell 240 8WFP is very similar, is not so simple. Freesync works fine with my 1060 6GB. I can say it works because I can turn on the menu on the monitor and it refreshes at different rates to match my in-game fps. In PR I get a maximum of about 102 fps. I need a better graphics card to really get the most out of this monitor, but so far so good. I like the menu. One button joystick for menu navigation is very convenient and the user interface is excellent. Pixio is a Japanese company and this monitor uses a Samsung LSM270HP06 VA 250 nit LCD panel. The stand is not height adjustable, but I can change it every day for a small area. It hardly takes up any space on my desk and I can properly propped a Razer Barracuda keyboard in front of it, and it covers the base of the stand perfectly when I have my legs spread out on the keyboard. I can't believe I paid $189 for this monitor. I cannot recommend this monitor more highly. It's so pretty and the bezels are really thin. The brightness is perfect. I wouldn't get any brighter. I'm using brightness around 80% BTW. The flexing of the panel doesn't bother me at all. I like it. I don't know what else to say. Comes with a 2-year warranty that beats the competition's 1-year warranty. This is one of the latest Pixios monitors and they have come a long way. Pixio did a great job! 5 Stars!
