I bought this kit because I noticed changes in my cat's behavior. She has started drinking lots of water, has lost weight and has low energy. The hydrophobic filler included in the kit didn't cover the entire bottom of her litter box. I was able to get a usable sample to test with the PH strips. Their results revealed the presence of abnormal glucose, protein, and pH levels. The next day I took her to the vet for an official blood and urine test. The results were the same as from the kit. The vet suspects early feline diabetes and does more testing. Looking back, I bought the kit because I already knew something was wrong with my cat's health. The test results led to a productive conversation with the vet that I felt was worth every penny.
