I purchased this test kit because my cat, who I suspected had urinary tract problems, would not allow me to collect urine by using holding a container under her while she urinated. (Can you blame him?) Hydrophobic sand worked much better. I have to agree with other reviewers that there isn't a lot of sand in this set. It didn't even cover the bottom of the small litter box.
