A full day's work for the first one I replaced.
For 1996 Chevy S10. I long unscrewed all the bolts on the dashboard and 4 nuts on the steering column. There is no need to remove the nuts on the firewall or take off the plastic wheelhouse to access more bolts, or break the heater core cap to access them as indicated in the U-tube video. Get a service manual worth the price.
