I think some of the reviews I read are outdated and they scared me so much that I invested $300 in this accessory. My biggest fear was that it wouldn't be loud enough. It may have been a firmware update, but now these headphones are VERY loud. You can make them so loud that it can be dangerous for your ears. So if that bothers you, take it easy. Everything else about them is pretty great. Easy charging. Pairing with my phone was a bit annoying at first. (Hold middle button for 12 seconds, press +, enter "Mobile Pairing Mode" and then it works. Normal pairing mode didn't work on iPhone). Very happy with my purchase and glad I took the risk.
