After unpacking, I heard loose parts rattling in the amplifier's housing. The outer box, box and packing foam were in perfect condition so it appears to be a factory defect. I ended up tilting it so I could see a small black screw and a piece of translucent plastic inside the amp case. Big enough not to fall through the vents. No interest in wasting time disassembling to remove parts and it doesn't seem to affect performance but is still sloppy. There is also no on/off switch on the remote control. In general, it feels like cheap throwaway electronics.
