Review on πŸ•―οΈ Tea Light Clear Plastic Cups for Candlemakers: Pack of 100 Cups by Ben Liu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for gifts; Potential problem for large sellers

Although I didn't count the package of plastic tealight cups I received I can say the item arrived as expected! These plastic tea light cups are slightly taller than traditional metal tea light holders, so be careful when wrapping them as a gift or product. Don't worry, the width is basically the same as a standard tealight. The wick guides are extremely useful for centering the wick, leaving very little room for error when placing the wicks. The mark is actually a little below the rim. My candles were closer to 5/8 oz (0.625 oz) when filled to the brim minus the weight of the container/wick. While you might think bigger candles are better, with this issue we begin to delve into the realm of consumer psychology. A standard tealight weighs approximately 0.5 ounces and is filled to the top of the container. If you actually filled these plastic teacups with just 0.5 ounces of wax, the level would be about 4-5mm from the top of the container, making the consumer feel "cheated" for just using a container sees that is not completely filled. full. Unless you choose to eat the cost of filling a candle to the brim (which is about 1/8 ounce more of wax), consumers probably won't choose your candles over other similarly priced candles because your candles are underfilled appear to be and have less wax to burn. But that's just my $0.02. If you just want to give away some pretty candles, you won't find a better set of 100 plastic tealight cups (not to mention a better price).
